Malaysia Day Celebration

Today, 15 Sept, the school has celebrated Malaysia Day, themed "sehati sejiwa". It is the time when the school children and teachers show their appreciation of harmony among the community and are reminded of their country’s struggle for independence. The theme, ‘sehati sejiwa’, reflect the spirit of solidarity, understanding, togetherness and humanity of all people in the country.
The event began with a Merdeka parade by year 6 students. Due to the haze and moderate API, the students were only allowed to parade inside the school compound.

Students in their uniform ready for the parade and demonstrating their love for the country.

The spirit of togetherness and unity.

 The Mr emcee.
All stood up to sing "Ibu PertiwiKu" and "Sehati Sejiwa".

MERDEKA! Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!
This should never forgotten in the celebration.

Poetry competition for Year 1 pupils.

Below are pictures of students participating in the Creative Merdeka Fashion Competition.

Last part of the event, choir performances from year 6 students, as below:
This group performs "Gemuruh Jiwa"

"Warisan" was their choice.

 They sang 'Tanggal 31"

And the last group sang "Sehati Sejiwa"

I believe my colleagues and I have done well to instill the importance of celebrating Malaysia Day in our students.

Happy Malaysia Day to all Malaysian.
